The Vaseline Healing Project

Better diagnosis for healthier skin

The Vaseline® Healing Project has brought essential dermatological support to Chiapas, South Mexico.

Misdiagnosis of skin complaints can be serious - and is much more common in remote areas. The Vaseline® Healing Project travelled to Chiapas, Mexico, to provide training and treatment clinics, supporting better diagnosis across the region.

Chiapas is a mostly indigenous region of Mexico with a deep-rooted Mayan culture. Bad diagnosis here means basic complaints can turn into life-changing illnesses.

The Vaseline® Healing Project brought dermatologists to Chiapas to train local doctors and host travelling clinics, bringing modern medical care to a culture enriched by its past.
